Time Trial Racing

ATTA is an association of individuals, bike riders who wish to pursue their sport of road timetrialling with regular, organised events on a range of courses varying in the sort of challenge each offers and at distances ranging from 16km to 160km and to promote the sport to encourage other bike riders to participate.

The inaugural Coburg Xmas Mini Tour was held last weekend.  Read the report and results.

Racing at National Boulevard will resume in February 2007.

The Coburg Cycling Club wish all its members and their families a safe and happy Christmas.

4th December 2006

Coburg Masters - a force to be reckoned with at Tour of Bright!

Well done to all 15 Coburg riders who raced at Bright over the weekend.  The strength of Coburg's Masters 2/3 riders was evident, with a Coburg jersey never far from the front of the race, and we finished with 3 riders in the top 10.

Stuart Morgan led the charge, finishing 2nd, with club champ Justin 'Jay Woo' Wornes 4th, and Phil Smith 9th.

Coburg Mini Tour - 9am 16th December (National Boulevard, Campbellfield)

Stage 1 - 1.8km Prologue

Stage 2 - 60min Kermesse

Stage 3 - 5 lap handicap

 Entry will be $10.

Note:  The START/FINISH and BBQ will be on the opposite side of the circuit to normal (ie. the west side of the circuit)

 Please bring the family for a free BBQ at the completion of the crit.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is proud to present the Jacob’s Creek Ride to Cure Diabetes.  In its 4th year, the event will be held at the Barossa Valley from 19 to 21 January 2007.  This is your opportunity to ride through the picturesque Barossa with other cycling enthusiasts and challenge yourself while helping JDRF raise money for type 1 diabetes research.  Various all-inclusive Rider packages are available.  To register or to learn more visit www.jdrf.org.au/ride
