Club Road Champs

Well done to Adrian Hanson who took out the Coburg Road Championships on the weekend.  Consistent performer Spud McDonough took out the Masters honours. 

McDonough also took out the individual time trial over Ryan Biltza.

Christmas Handicap Wheelrace on Sunday 11th December.  

FREE ENTRY, start time 1pm at the Coburg track  (Richards Reserve, Charles Street Coburg) 

Race will coincide with our Christmas BBQ

Well done to Helen Lawson who completed a successful weekend racing in Wagga Wagga, taking 3rd in the criterium and 6th place in the 55km road race.

Coburg Christmas BBQ - Sunday 11th December

Time: From 1pm onwards. 

Place: Coburg Club Rooms (Richards Reserve, Charles Street Coburg)

Cost $5 PP - includes meat, salads, nibbles and soft drinks.  BYO alcohol.

Open to all club members and their families.

Amy's Ride

John Trevorrow is proud to announce that he has organised a ride to raise funds for the Amy Gillett Foundation, which was established soon after Amy was killed (and her team mates seriously injured) in a training accident in Germany earlier this year.

The ride has been sanctioned by Simon Gillett and the Amy Gillett Foundation and is held in conjunction with Stage 4 of the 2006 Jayco Bay Cycling Classic (held in the Geelong Botanic Gardens).

Coburg 100th Anniversary Club Championships. 

19th and 20th November starting at Lancefield Tennis Club.  Road race, time trial and handicap all for $10 entry.  Entries close Wednesday 16th November.  NON MEMBERS welcome.  See flyer for more information.   BBQ and presentations following racing on Sunday afternoon.  See Race Directions and Map

Coburg would like to wish a speedy recovery to Christine Ervin (broken leg) and Steve Richards (broken arm).  Both were hit by cars in different accidents.
